This wine is bottled by Caves Vidigal, a beautiful cooperative located in Cortes near Leiria. Caves Vidigal applies the necessary finesse towards the winegrowers and makes their expertise available to them. The winemakers are Antonio Ventura and Rafael Neuparth. This wine has an alcohol content of 14.5% and a pH of 3.35. The Brutalis is ripened by classical maceration. The Alicante Bouschet first ripens in steel barrels, after which it is matured in French and American Allier Fino barrels for 6 months. It is then blended with the Cabernet and matured in the bottle for at least 6 months before being marketed.
