Description: Stunning wine. The highlight of this wine estate. Expect a nice firm red wine with a deep red color in the glass. The grapes for this wine are harvested manually to get the best results. We get a beautiful bouquet of ripe red fruit in the nose. The aftertaste is rather complex, firm with some tannins still present. This top wine can be kept for up to 15 years and has an alcohol content of 14.5%.
The new wines from Herdade do Gamito fall under the so-called Terroir Wines. Wines that express the unique conditions of a transitional area such as Northern Alentejo. However, this area has some steep slopes, some height, very granite and often sandy soils and an almost constant presence of water, supplied by the two ponds and the Ribeira da Seda stream.
