Description: The grapes for this wine are harvested manually to get the best results. On the nose we get a fairly open wine with fresh notes. In the mouth we get shades of citrus and some light acidity due to the Arinto. The Verdelho provides the open nose and the Alvarinho some tropical fruit.
The new wines from Herdade do Gamito fall under the so-called Terroir Wines. Wines that express the unique conditions of a transitional area such as Northern Alentejo. However, this area has some steep slopes, some height, very granite and often sandy soils and an almost constant presence of water, supplied by the two ponds and the Ribeira da Seda stream.
