Description: The grapes for this wine are harvested manually to get the best results. On the nose we get a fairly open, expressive wine. The color is light yellow. On the palate we get a beautiful wine with shades of ripe tropical fruit and a more complex aftertaste. The acidity in the aftertaste is rather limited. Really very nicely made.
The new wines from Herdade do Gamito fall under the so-called Terroir Wines. Wines that express the unique conditions of a transitional area such as Northern Alentejo. However, this area has some steep slopes, some height, very granite and often sandy soils and an almost constant presence of water, supplied by the two ponds and the Ribeira da Seda stream.
